"An Executive Order"
|
There's always a stipulation on government contract deals. That's what many of our clients find when trying to land business with the government. Here is one scenario that plays out time and time again:
After the sales team of Smith Co.* spent months to win a new contract from a government agency, they engaged in the due diligence process for contracting. At the last minute they discovered the agency required them to provide certification and evidence that they were in compliance with Executive Order 11246 and the multiple other applicable civil rights regulations to be eligible to receive the contract. Needless to say, they were in "panic mode".
Smith Co. approached us with a mandate they received to show affirmative action compliance by the end of the week. They needed an Affirmative Action Plan within 7 days. They utilized the AAP Comply service and received their AAP and certification with time to spare.
Their ability to certify that they maintain an active Affirmative Action Program and update it annually enabled them to meet the eligibility requirements to provide services and products to numerous other government agencies AND ALSO to contract with any company who is a prime contractor to the Government.
It's been a win-win-win for everyone involved.
